NO Onions or Garlic!

I’m still doing some more thorough research on what is and is not high in FODMAPs (some items seem to be hard to decipher) but one consistency I have seen is that all kinds of onions and garlic should be avoided- in any form!!  This is interesting since they are both things that are generally used in cooking and while I’m not a huge fan of either in large quantities, I have always felt that soups needed at least some of each to be flavorful.  So maybe some of my issues has been that many foods contain onions and/or garlic, especially in powdered form.
